AceShowbiz - New details have emerged amid rumors which say that Birdman and Toni Braxton have called off their engagement. If a recent report from MTO News was to be believable, it was said that the Cash Money CEO was the one who ended things between them because he wanted to be with another woman. And that person was Nicole Murphy.

According to multiple sources, Birdman and the ex-wife of Eddie Murphy are currently dating each other, though it remains unknown how serious they are. Additionally, the publication reported that people on social media were debating whether the music mogul trading Toni for Nicole was a sideways move.

Birdman and Toni first sparked split rumors when she shared on Instagram a post about "starting a new chapter." Days before that, Birdman wrote in a now-deleted post, "It's over." Following months of radio silence, the "Un-Break My Heart" hitmaker addressed the report earlier this month, but played coy when asked about the status of their relationship.

"We don't know what happened," she said at the time. "It just kind of (came out of nowhere). Someone said it and we were like, 'OK, we'll just ride with it because it'll give us some privacy.' "

Toni fueled the rumors when a sneak peek of her family reality show "Braxton Family Values" hit the web. "We probably should just have eloped a long time ago. We would probably still be together," she said to sister Trina Baxton. "I really don't know... just stuff... Maybe I have happiness, and I just don't know how to be happy yet."

Birdman and Toni dated for about two years before they became engaged. While it's unclear when exactly the former popped the question, Toni announced their engagement during a telecast of "Braxton Family Values", in which she showed off her engagement ring.
