Ryan Murphy, who will produce the movie for Netflix, reveals that the other original cast members of the hit Broadway play, including Andrew Rannells and Matt Bomer, will also make a return.

AceShowbiz - Jim Parsons, Zachary Quinto and their "The Boys in the Band" castmates are all reuniting to take their hit Broadway show to the big screen.

TV mogul Ryan Murphy has revealed he's developing the drama, which also included Andrew Rannells and Matthew Bomer, and the stage stars will all reprise their characters.

"The Broadway cast of Boys was so important to me," Murphy wrote in an Instagram post, "and as equally groundbreaking as Mart Crowley's seminal work. Everyone in the cast was out and proud... and feeling so blessed to mark the 50th anniversary of Mart's (sic) landmark play."

The film, which will also bring back director Joe Mantello, is expected to debut on Netflix in 2020.
