His Instagram followers are not happy with his decision to promote such a product following Kourtney Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, who also land in hot water for it.

AceShowbiz - Scott Disick is the latest celebrity to jump into the bandwagon of weight loss product promotion. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star recently took to his Instagram account to do a paid promo for Boom Bod "weight loss shots," and the backlash was almost immediate.

The picture saw the ex of Kourtney Kardashian posing next to the product in what looks like his kitchen. The 35-year-old father of three had one glass with the product inside in one of his hands. "#ad Getting fit on @boombod weight loss shots. Already seeing great results. It's up to 50% off today, go get your own at boombod.com," Scott wrote in the caption.

His followers were not happy though with his decision to promote such a product following other Kardashian-Jenner family members, including Kourt and Khloe Kardashian, who also landed in hot water for it. "Damn, you too Scott," one fan wrote in the comment section. "You would be one to make fun of this Scott, you ain't dumb . Your so bluntly honest why don't u just be bluntly honest about this is a waste of money."

"Hey Scott, I'm all for you collecting your check. Make your money! But when it comes at the expense of others health, I think that's when it becomes an issue," another comment read. "These products (that don't even work) do nothing but set up young, impressionable people (your fans) for a lifetime of an unhealthy relationship with their body and food. I hope you reconsider what you promote," another fan added.

The product costs from $31.99 for a "seven-day achiever" to $111.97 for a "28-day achiever." "Each 10 calorie shot contains a unique vitamin blend and a natural fiber that works to reduce your appetite and is clinically proven to aid weight loss," the description on the website read.

Prior to Scott, Kourtney promoted a Flat Tummy meal replacement product in January, though the picture has since been removed. Joining Kourtney, Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kris Jenner have also promoted slimming or detox products.

Among those who slammed the famous clan members was "The Good Place" actress Jameela Jamil. She blasted Khloe last March for promoting Flat Tummy shakes which according to Jameela could potentially hurt girls. "Be smarter than this," she said.

Kris, meanwhile, had responded to the criticism, saying in an New York Times interview, "I don't live in that negative energy space." She also added during her appearance on "CBS Sunday Morning" on April 14 that they received higher fee if it's "a pharmaceutical product, if it's something that you're going to drink, or ingest, or put on your body."
