"The Young and the Restless" actress reveals the couple, which celebrated its three-year wedding anniversary last month, has been working on starting a family for some time.
"After about a year of trying to have a baby, we couldn't be more excited to be bringing our love into this world!" the 34-year-old mother-to-be tells People.com.
Heaping praise on his wife, "The Bold and the Beautiful" actor Darin adds, "Kelly's been truly amazing through this whole process! She's been filming and working through it all, which is incredible! And just the strength and energy she has had to be the bearer of this new little life form is inspiring!"
"Pregnancy can have its challenges, for sure, but it's definitely worth it! It has brought us closer together and we just can't wait to meet the little me or Kelly!"
The baby is due in September.
