After the 'Hotline Bling' rapper expresses how hurt he was by the 'Wearing My Rolex' hitmaker's comments during a radio show gig, he finds his collaborator Giggs being dragged into the beef.

AceShowbiz - Drake and Wiley have stepped up their hip-hop feud over the Canadian rapper's involvement in the U.K. grime scene.

Wiley, known as the 'Godfather of Grime' for his role as a pioneering British MC in the early 2000s, has slammed the "Hotline Bling" musician as a "vulture" for his involvement with one of his old grime collectives, Boy Better Know, and promotion of U.K. artists as proteges.

Drake responded to the remarks during a DJing stint on BBC Radio 1Xtra on Saturday, April 13, revealing how hurt he was by the comments.

"It is what it is." the rapper said. "I see a lot and I'll never understand how supporting somebody's song or even going a step further and giving somebody a song or linking up...I'll never understand how that's not viewed as something admirable but I guess people have their own outlook on it. I just had to talk about it because it's bothering me."

Calling out the "Wearing My Rolex" hitmaker, 40, by name he added: "But yeah, I didn't like that. It's Wiley that said that, I'll just say his name because that was some goofy s**t. But yeah, I just didn't like that. I was like, 'Dude what are you talking about?".

Wiley, real name Richard Kylea Cowie Jr., has since hit back, mocking Drake's "goofy s**t" comments in an Instagram video and retweeting fans' supportive tweets. He also involved fellow British hip-hop star and Drake collaborator Giggs, 35, in the beef, tweeting him saying his "boy" (Drake) "cracked".

The "Linguo" hitmaker responded by calling Wiley a "f**king clown" and telling him to "leave me alone" and not involve him, tweets he subsequently deleted.

Drake has spent the last two weeks in the U.K. playing a seven-date run at London's O2 Arena. During his stint he also debuted the trailer for the third season of "Top Boy", a gritty drama about London gang culture he bought the rights to and has turned into a Netflix series.
