The North Carolina rapper performs his latest single 'Middle Child' during the show which takes place at The O2, before Drake joins him onstage to tease their joint project.

AceShowbiz - Drake made sure the people who attended the last London show of his "Assassination Vacation Tour" got a night that they would forever remember in their lifetime. During the concert that took place at The O2 in London, England on Thursday, April 11, the Canadian rapper brought out J. Cole on stage, much to everyone's surprise.

Cole hit the stage to perform his latest single "Middle Child", before he and Drake had a moment together on stage. Wrapping his arm around the "God's Plan" hitmaker, the North Carolina rapper said, "Top 5, if not, God damn arguably the best rapper to ever come in this motherf***er. Watching your show tonight, God damn."

Drake replied by gushing over his longtime friend, "When I think of all my earliest memories there was always one guy that was always right there doing the same thing as me. Taking care of his people, showin' love. This man right here. He hasn't changed since the first day I met him." He then teased that they would release a joint song, "I can't wait to make some new music with you. I know we been working. I can't wait to let the people hear it."

Details of their new project remains unclear as of now. It also remains to be seen whether it will be included on Drake's forthcoming album. During the Tuesday, April 9 show in London, the Grammy-winning musician announced that he had already begun working on his new record. "I kinda actually started night last night to be honest with you," he said. "But I think what I'ma do after this is go home, and I'ma make a new album so I can come back to London next year and we can do this again."

The new album will follow his 2018 effort "Scorpion", which spent five consecutive weeks atop Billboard 200.
