The Neil Winters of 'The Young and the Restless' has been laid to rest following a funeral service attended by family members at a church in Westlake Village, California on March 4.

AceShowbiz - Actor Kristoff St. John has been laid to rest next to his son.

The star, who played Neil Winters on long-running soap "The Young and the Restless", was honoured by family members at a church in Westlake Village, California on Monday, March 04.

St. John died at his home in San Fernando Valley, California, last month, aged 52. A cause of death has not yet been released.

Reports suggest his beloved dog was part of the memorial, but the actor's Russian fiancee, Kseniya Mikhaleva, was not able to attend after she was denied an emergency visa.

Kseniya, who is based in Moscow, took to her Instagram page to reveal she wouldn't be able to bid a final farewell to the actor.

"Several weeks ago I applied for an 'emergency' visa for the funeral to say goodbye my fiance and beloved," she wrote. "The reply from the Embassy was 'No'. My heart is broken. I am going through this with a huge pain in my heart, and realise that I don't have opportunity to say goodbye to him and put flowers on his grave."

"It is not right, not fair. Fly, my love, and finally find peace. Any person in my place would be torn into pieces. It's scary, painful, and disgusting that I cannot be with my loved one and his family on his last journey to eternal peace. RIP @kristoffstjohn."

Kseniya became engaged to Kristoff in September (2018). His son passed away in 2014 after taking his own life at the age of 24.
