'Who's the Boss?' Star Katherine Helmond Passed Away at 89

The actress best known for her role as Mona Robinson on the Tony Danza-starring hit sitcom died on February 23.

AceShowbiz - TV veteran Katherine Helmond has died, aged 89.

The Tony Award-winning actress, who starred in U.S. TV hits "Soap" and "Who's the Boss?", passed away on 23 February, according to Deadline.

She picked up multiple Emmy Award nominations for both series, and also featured in "Coach", "Everybody Loves Raymond" and "True Blood".

Helmond voiced Lizzie in all three Disney/Pixar "Cars" movies.

She won her Tony Award in 1973 for her performance in "The Great God Brown".
