But instead of giving a clear answer, she decided to troll her fans.

The fan theories that her fans have come up over these past two months included a mermaid-themed album. This is because she rocked a Little Mermaid costume for her New Year's party and sported a mermaid tee at the end of her "Reputation" documentary. In addition to that, fans notice that there was a mermaid patch on the jacket that Taylor wore on the cover of her "Reputation" magazine.

Most recent theories had something to do with palm trees, thanks to the "Bad Blood" singer's cryptic social media post which featured her adding emojis of the tree in the caption. Furthermore, fans believed that Taylor would be collaborating with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic and Katy Perry after the two posted pictures of palm trees.

While the possibility of her collaborating with Ryan was not that shocking to fans, considering they have worked together before, the speculation of Taylor teaming up with the "Roar" hitmaker excited many fans. After all, they had a fallout before. The two pop stars were feuding more than three years, with Taylor dissing her on "Bad Blood".

Addressing their infamous feud, Taylor said, "She did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me."
