AceShowbiz - More than two weeks after she confirmed her engagement to art gallery director Cooke Maroney, Jennifer Lawrence has finally given fans the first clear look at her engagement ring. The 28-year-old actress flaunted her stunning giant diamond ring from her fiance while enjoying dinner with her friends in New York City.
The Academy Award-winning actress stepped out with her female pals for a girls' night out at ABC Cocina on Thursday night. In photos which have circulated online from her outing that night, she was seen fixing her hair with her left hand, which is adorned with the gorgeous ring, while chatting animatedly with her friends.
"They seemed to be sharing stories and laughing and having a good time," an eyewitness tells E! News. Another onlooker says that the blonde beauty was "in a great mood laughing and chatting with her girlfriends."
The source adds, "They shared several different dishes and seemed to really enjoy themselves. Jennifer wore her engagement ring and it was very noticeable and sparkly. She was smiling and laughing throughout the meal. It was clear she's very happy and was having a great night."
Jennifer and Cooke, a 33-year-old art dealer and director of Gladstone Gallery in Manhattan, started dating in June 2018 after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend, Laura Simpson. The blonde beauty sparked engagement rumors after she was spotted rocking a "massive ring" on her finger during a cozy dinner with her beau at Raoul's in New York earlier this month.
"It was a giant rock. They seemed like they were celebrating and people were talking about it," a source told Page Six of the couple's dinner date. "The ring was very noticeable. They were sitting back in a corner. She was wearing a cute black dress with white polka dots."
Hours after the news broke, her representative confirmed that Jennifer's indeed engaged to get married to her boyfriend of less than a year. The couple has been private about their relationship despite the public's prying eyes.
