Bashing the live-streaming video game platform for its 'double standard', the EDM producer insists he won't apologize for his words that was not directed to the LGBTQ community as a whole.

AceShowbiz - Deadmau5 has been banned from live-streaming video game platform Twitch after an alleged "homophobic" rant.

The Canadian EDM producer, real name Joel Zimmermann, reportedly threw a tantrum after his character died in the online game PlayerUnknown's Battleground, after which the 38-year-old DJ took to Twitch to vent his frustrations, where he referred to his opponent as a "f**king c**k-sucking stream sniper f*g," reported Billboard.

The tirade resulted in the music star's dismissal from the site for violating their anti-hate speech policies.

After being banned from the site, Deadmau5 took to Reddit to criticise Twitch, and vowed to cut ties with the company.

"I'm not going to stand for Twitch's double standard when it comes to censoring and suspending me for harmless s**t," he wrote. "I don't have the capacity to deal with this kind of s**t."

He went on to explain that he never intended the remarks to be anti-LGBT+.

"It was intended to insult a f**kin a**hat who was being a f**kin a**hat... it wasn't 'directed at an entire group of people who have a sexual orientation that differs from my own'," he affirmed.

Despite rejecting all claims of homophobia, the producer refused to apologise for his words.

"I don't have to f**king sit here and cry and defend my f**kingself (sic) with the oblicatory 'I'M NOT THAT PERSON I'M SORRY'," he protested.

Closing the rant, the star insisted that his words were said "in the heat of the moment" and that he's "better off not even f**king knowing" people that think otherwise.

"Just keep way the f**k clear of me," he warned, before later deleting his comments from Reddit.
