To be joined by Clean Bandit at the August festival, the 'Spinning Around' hitmaker is expected to perform some of her hit songs like 'Better the Devil You Know' and 'Can't Get You Out of My Head'.

AceShowbiz - Kylie Minogue will headline the 2019 Brighton Pride festival in England in August.

The "Spinning Around" hitmaker will be supported by "Rather Be" dance stars Clean Bandit as she headlines the "Pride in the Park" concert in Preston Park on 3 August.

"BRIGHTON! It's happening! Can't wait to celebrate #Pride with you all on August 3rd! (rainbow flag emoji)," Kylie tweeted on Tuesday morning, February 05.

Organisers described the Australian popstar as "a true icon and ally of the LGBT community", and added, "The term 'legend' is far too readily bandied around these days, but Kylie is truly deserving of the title and we can't wait to welcome her to Brighton for a full show packed with all the hits."

They said she would perform hits such as "Better the Devil You Know", "On a Night Like This" and "Can't Get You Out of My Head" in a special show to help mark the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Inn uprising in New York that ignited the Pride movement.

Kylie, who follows in the footsteps of last year's Brighton headliner Britney Spears, has a string of outdoor gigs lined up across 2019, most notably a performance at Britain's Glastonbury Festival, during which she will play the Sunday afternoon Legends slot.

In addition to the Saturday date, Brighton Pride organisers have also announced the "LoveBN1Fest - Pride Sunday in the Park" concert which will take place on 4 August, with Grace Jones and Jessie J as headliners.
