The new revelation is quite surprising for some fans as they expect Donna to wear her recent black costume considering the dark tone of the series.

AceShowbiz - Fans are excited to see the arrival of Donna Troy a.k.a. Wonder Girl on "Titans". And now, the first-look photo of Conor Leslie, who takes on the role of Donna, sporting Wonder Girl costume has made its way out online.

The photo first hit the web after film hair designer Debra Johnson posted it on Instagram. The photo, which now has been deleted, features Leslie sporting a red costume with yellow stars which is high-likely Wonder Girl costume for the series. The revelation is quite surprising for some fans as they expect Donna to wear her recent black costume considering the dark tone of the series.

The leaked photo seemingly suggests that the DC Universe series is combining the classic Donna Troy "jumpsuit" costume and the post-New 52 Wonder Woman look for the costume. The suit features a kind of "ribbed" effect to the top. Fans even can recognize that some elements of the design were previously featured in the movie version of the Wonder Woman costume.

Donna Troy is described as "an intriguing character for the show to introduce because unlike the other superheroes who have made guest appearances, Wonder Girl is traditionally a member of the team."

Donna a.k.a. Wonder Girl first appeared in 1965 in "The Brave and The Bold" #60. Created by Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani, she is originally a younger version of Wonder Woman, but has since evolved into a completely different Amazonian hero. Donna was instrumental in the founding of the original Teen Titans team that was made of Robin, Wally West and Aqualad. It is her involvement that put the half of lineup together.

Leslie previously shared her thought on portraying Wonder Girl. "I will say that you will definitely see Wonder Girl peek through," "The Man in the High Castle" actress revealed back in November. "You will see elements of her come out. We're seeing Donna in her photographer gear. Dick [Grayson] didn't show up and she wasn't wearing her suit all of the sudden. I think fans are going to want to know when we'll see little peeks of Wonder Girl, and we will see it in the next episode -- and some of her accessories."
