While sitting down with his 'Big Time Adolescence' co-stars for an interview, the comedian also talks about the time when he went to a rehab facility in Utah.

AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson has opened up about the reason why he decides to delete his social media accounts. The comedian made the revelation when sitting down alongside his "Big Time Adolescence" co-stars during a new interview with Variety.

"I can't go on [social media] for obvious reasons," Pete said with a chuckle, before giving a piece of advice for people, "Just don't go online." The "Saturday Night Live" star added while taking shots at President Donald Trump, "It doesn't make me very happy. Even if it's not about me, it's random s**t like, 'Trump farts.' I'm not a fan of it."

Pete made waves when he deleted his Instagram account in late last year, largely due to him posting what appeared to be a suicidal note before axing his account. He recently apologized for making everyone worried in an episode of "SNL". He said at the time, "After observing John's [Mulaney] life, I publicly threatened suicide. I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't make that joke."

Back to the Variety interview, Pete also talked about the time when he went to a rehab facility in Utah, where the interview took place. "I love Park City, Utah because the last time I was here I was in rehab, so it's nice to be on the other side. It also speaks wonder to your rehab facility," he said, pretending to make a toast with a bottle of beer. "It worked out great."

Discussing filming "Big Town Adolescence" in Syracuse, New York, Pete admitted he wasn't having the great time there because cops "tried to arrest me the whole time." He then recalled the moment when he was pulled over by police and charged with possessing marijuana when he was driving home one weekend.

"The cops, because there's nothing going on here, they were hunting me down the whole time. They tried to arrest me for bringing business to your town. Never again, Syracuse," he said while flipping the bird.
