Angelo Bertolotti, who was put on life support during his final days, died at the age of 92 a little over nine years after the sudden death of the '8 Mile' actress.

AceShowbiz - Brittany Murphy's estranged father has passed away, just over nine years after mourning the actress' tragic death.
Angelo Bertolotti died on Tuesday, January 22, aged 92, after suffering a series of health issues.
According to his son, Jeff, the family patriarch had been on life support during his final days.
"There was just no possible way, short of a miracle, that he was able to roll out of this extensive set of health problems," he explained, according to The Blast. "Anything short of letting him go would be cruel."
The "8 Mile" star had not been in touch with Angelo for years at the time of her death in late 2009, at the age of 32.
She suffered a cardiac arrest in December, 2009, and coroners subsequently ruled pneumonia was her main cause of death, with anaemia and multiple drug intoxication listed as contributory factors.
Bertolotti took issue with the ruling and filed suit against bosses at the Los Angeles Coroner's office, but it was later dismissed.
