AceShowbiz - The Los Angeles home belonging to the mother of Chris Brown's daughter has been targeted in a burglary.
Model Nia Guzman, who shares four-year-old girl Royalty with the R&B singer, was not present when thieves gained access to her apartment on Tuesday, January 22 and ransacked the place, stealing shoes and designer handbags.
According to TMZ.com, Nia narrowly missed a run-in with the culprits as she was visiting her mother, who lives next door.
It's not clear if anything else of value was taken during the raid, which took place a day after Brown was arrested in Paris, France, on suspicion of rape and drug offences following an alleged incident with a woman he met at a nightclub last week (ends January 18.
He and two associates were taken into custody by police on Monday, but released without charge on Tuesday as detectives continued to investigate the claims.
The 29-year-old star has denied the sexual assault accusations, and has since filed suit against the alleged victim for defamation.
