The Daps and Sara Lacombe-directed music video begins with an explanation about how the City Girls threw out a challenge to the world last November, expecting to find "the world's greatest Twerker." The winner of the challenge will be given $25,000 in cash. The scene then changes to show Yung Miami and Cardi rocking animal body paint while partying with a crew of of women aboard a yacht. With a pole in tow, the two MCs deliver their verses as they show off their twerking skill on the pole.

At one point during the visuals, Yung Miami pays homage to her teammate JT, who is currently behind bars for credit card fraud, with a "Free JT" mural.

The twerking squad later changes location to continue flaunting their booty shaking skill. One girl stand out more than others, lighting up a joint while twerking upside down. Impressing both Cardi and Yung Miami even more, the said girl does a backflip and continue twerking like nothing happens. The girl is then undoubtedly named the winner of the challenge, flaunting the money that she receives for winning it.

"Twerk" is included on City Girls' debut album "Girl Code", which was released on November 16. Beside the booty-shaking anthem, the effort also features collaborations with Jacquees on "Give It a Try" and with Lil Baby on "Season".

As for Cardi, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker is currently working on her sophomore album, which is expected to be released this year. "Hopefully I can get my album done around the same time that 'Invasion of Privacy' came out," she previously said during an Instagram Live session. "I don't know how possible that's gonna to be because I feel like I'm gonna be extremely busy."
