Admitting in a new podcast chat that she repeatedly feeling 'judged' for her decision, the former 'One Tree Hill' star urges fellow mothers to 'just be the best mums that we are'.

AceShowbiz - Singer/actress Jana Kramer is fed of defending her decision not to breastfeed her newborn son, after repeatedly feeling "judged" for using a bottle whenever she's out in public.

The former "One Tree Hill" star welcomed her second child, Jace Joseph, with her husband Mike Caussin in late November (18), and she hasn't been shy about showing off her baby boy on social media.

Jana recently revealed on her podcast, Whine Down with Jana Kramer, that she had given up on trying to breastfeed her tot after struggling to naturally produce the milk required - a problem she also experienced with her daughter Jolie, who turns three later this month.

The responses she received have largely been positive, but the new mum admits she still feels like she's being shamed by others whenever she uses a bottle to feed Jace formula in public.

"I've had so many people reach out to me on DMs (direct messages on social media)... it's been really great," she shared of the reaction to her breastfeeding confession, "but it also (is) just really frustrating."

In a new podcast chat with her husband, Mike admits he can "sense that tension" whenever Jana is questioned about her feeding choice in his presence, because breastfeeding is "the way humans have done it for so long".

"I totally get that. It's just frustrating when women (are told) breast milk is the best," Jana shared. "I understand that - (they) don't need to tell me something that I (already) know. But I also don't need to explain to (people) why it's either not working or we're not doing it or we chose not to. I don't know why we feel like we have to explain."

"I feel like I have to hide the bottle when I'm in public because people are judging me. I feel judged," she said.

However, Jana is determined not to let the haters get her down as she enjoys new motherhood, and she is encouraging others in similar situations to do the same.

"I guess I'm saying this to... the mums out there that feel this way too," she shared. "Let's not feel like we have to defend our decision. Let's just be the best mums that we are."
