AceShowbiz - Actor-turned-TV presenter Mario Lopez was stunned to discover his wife was pregnant with their third child, because they had almost given up hope of conceiving again.
The former "Saved by the Bell" star announced the happy news in a family video post on social media on Friday, January 11, when his wife Courtney debuted her growing baby bump.
The tot will join the couple's daughter Gia, eight, and son Dominic, five, and Mario admits the unborn child is somewhat of a "miracle" baby, because they had been trying to expand their family for some time, with no luck.
"If it didn't happen (in 2018), it wasn't meant to be. Not part of God's plan. We have one of each (sex)," the 45-year-old told People.com of their thinking before learning of Courtney's pregnancy. "But it got in there! It snuck in, towards the end, so a bit of a Christmas miracle."
The couple, which wed in 2012, plans on keeping the sex of the third child a surprise until its birth in July, just as Mario and Courtney have done in the past.
"We've waited for all the kids, (so) it's going to be a surprise," he explained. "We're pretty old school, you know, it being the tie-breaker. It doesn't matter, to be honest, as long as it's healthy. We're just very excited. The gender reveal will be when it's born!"
