Sparks fly between Peter and MJ during their school trip, but Nick Fury 'hijacks' Peter's vacation to ask his help in dealing with elemental creature attacks in Europe.

AceShowbiz - As promised, the first official trailer for "Spider-Man: Far From Home" was finally released online on Tuesday, January 15. Initially debuted at the Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in Brazil last December, the video features scenes that match the trailer description.

Having found out about her nephew's superhero alter ego, May (Marisa Tomei) recruits Peter (Tom Holland) for a charitable event. Happy (Jon Favreau) arrives late to bring a donation from Pepper Potts and he appears to be smitten with May. Peter senses this and asks, "What just happened?"

Next, Peter prepares for his school trip. He struggles to decide whether or not he should bring his Spider-Man suit. In another scene, Happy appears to urge Peter to embrace his role as a superhero, giving him a hypothetical question, "You're all alone, your friends are in trouble. What are you gonna do about?"

Upon arriving in Europe, Peter gets closer with MJ (Zendaya Coleman). But his normal teenager moments are interrupted by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), who "hijacks" his vacation to ask his help in dealing with some elemental beasts which have attacked Europe. Initially reluctant, Peter is later seen wearing his suit which now enables him to fly. He's also seen sporting the new black stealth suit.

Nick and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders) are seen shooting bullets to a solid rock form of the Elementals known as Magnum in the comics. The creatures also come in the form of air known as Zephyr which attacks the London bridge, in the Elemental of flame known as Hellfire, and as water called Hydron.

Hydron attacks Peter while he's on a bridge in Venice, Italy, and that's when Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) appears as a sort of an ally. He tries to fend off Hydron with his power which looks like Doctor Strange's magic tricks.

Marvel also releases another version of the trailer for international audience. It opens with different scenes, showing Peter getting through airport security where the officer opens his suitcase to reveal that Aunt May has packed his Spider-Man suit and he's not allowed to bring banana on the plane.

According to the official synopsis, "Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!"

"Spider-Man: Far From Home" is still directed by Jon Watts who also served as helmer for "Spider-Man: Homecoming". The superhero pic is set for a July 5, 2019 release in the United States.
