The video featured the Grammy-winning singer having a phone call with her manager, who broke the exciting news to Keys. She then began dancing and shouting, "Yeah!" before joking, "Wait, what if I don't want to do it?" Keys later went to rehearsals and dress fittings, telling her friends and family of her new hit. "Damn, this has got to be such an exciting show this year because of all the female artists and performers," she said in the video.

Keys additionally issued a statement expressing her excitement about the hosting gig. "I know what it feels like to be on that stage, and I'm going to bring that vibe and energy," she said. "I'm so excited to be the master of ceremonies on the biggest night in music and celebrate the creativity, power and magic. I'm especially excited for all the incredible women nominated this year! It's going up on February 10!"

Keys will be the first woman to host the Grammy Awards since Queen Latifah in 2005.

The 61st Grammy Awards will be held on February 10 at Staples Center in Los Angeles. Kendrick Lamar dominates the nominations with eight nods.
