During an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the 'Beautiful Boy' star spills on the story when his cruise ship prank on his naked mother backfired on him.

AceShowbiz - Timothee Chalamet took his mum to the Golden Globes as his date as part of an ongoing apology for locking her out of their cabin on a cruise ship, while she was naked.
The "Beautiful Boy" star's prank backfired on him when he realised he couldn't let her back in as the boat was docking.
"It was when I was 12," the young star tells talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. "She was getting out of the shower and she was drying herself and she went on the balcony just to go 'Woo' as we were pulling into port, and just to be funny I locked the door... and pretended to be leaving the room."
"I thought it would be really funny if I actually left the room... I waited, like, three minutes and I didn't have my key card (to get back in) I realised, and our balcony was on the side of the ship."
"I ran the length of the ship and couple of times and was, like, weeping... and I finally got a key card."
Chalamet raced back to the room and let his mother back in.
"I was devastated," he admits.
