The 'Smallville' alum shares the first glimpse of his and fiancee Jessica Rose Lee's first child together, a baby boy.

AceShowbiz - Tom Welling has finally become a proud father to a baby boy. The actor famously known for his role as Clark Kent on superhero drama "Smallville" welcomed his first child with fiancee Jessica Rose Lee on Saturday, January 5.
Breaking the happy news was Jessica. On Monday, January 7, she made the birth of their son public by posting a sneak peek at the newborn on her Instagram account. Along with the photo, she spilled in the caption the baby's name and other details. "Thomson Wylde Welling January 5, 2019 12:31 am 8lbs 8oz of pure LOVE," she wrote.
Jessica's online announcement quickly received thousands of likes as well as congratulatory messages. One follower wrote in the comment section of the post, "Congratulations newborn parents! Health for Superboy Thomson." Another one gushed, "Congratulations he is beautiful just like his mom and dad."
Tom's fiancee has been quite active in sharing her pregnancy on social media. Back in September, the New Zealander uploaded a photo of her baby bump with a simple caption, "New life in the new year." Weeks later, she posted another photo of her baby bump. This time, she captioned it, "What a wonderful time of life! Welcomed home my bestie's baby. Cannot WAIT to see what we're cookin."
Tom and Jessica have gotten engaged a few weeks before they turned to their individual Instagram accounts to share the news. At the time, the 41-year-old actor posted a photo of himself FaceTiming her along with the hashtag, "#fiance". Jessica, on the other hand, wrote a longer post, thanking him for all of his "unwavering support and super-human love".
The new parents started dating in early 2014 months after Tom and ex-wife Jamie White decided to part ways after 10 years of marriage. Reason of the separation was noted as "irreconcilable differences", and their divorce was finalized in November 2015.
