Teaming up with United Service Organizations, the 'This Is Us' actor and the former star of 'That '70s Show' are joining the non-profit organization for the six-day trip to military bases abroad.

AceShowbiz - Milo Ventimiglia and Wilmer Valderrama gave up their Christmases at home to visit U.S. troops abroad over the festive period.

The "This Is Us" actor and "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" star, as well as Olympic snowboarder Shaun White and country music star Kellie Pickler, teamed up with officials at United Service Organizations (USO), a non-profit organisation which supports members of the military and their families, to visit troops posted abroad over the holidays.

The USO Holiday Tour began with a stop in Norway on December 21, before moving onto military bases in Bahrain, Afghanistan, Iraq and Poland over the course of six days, and Milo shared snaps and remarked on their journey at the end of the trip.

"16 flights on 4 different military transports covering 20,500 miles while crossing 8 time zones in 6 days to spend the holidays with over 4000 service members," Milo tweeted on Thursday, December 27. "Thank you #GenDunford @TheJointStaff + @The_USO for an amazing tour. True AMERICAN Leadership. Honored MV."

Alongside the tweet, the actor shared pictures of himself chatting to a U.S. Marine, of him and Wilmer onstage with microphones in front of huge U.S. flag, their view from the stage, of hundreds of service personnel watching them, and selfie of him wearing a USO jacket while stood in front of a military aircraft.

On Friday, the former "That '70s Show" star also shared a snap of the entertainment crew posing for a group shot inside the aircraft and posted a video taken as he left a plane at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland.

"That's it. We're closing the USO tour," he said. "Really proud, really excited about what we did on this trip and even more touched by the hundreds and thousands of stories and thousands of soldiers I was able to meet on this trip. I'm proud to be an American and I'm proud of the men and women who wear this uniform and protect the American dream."

Milo has worked with the USO before - on a tour in 2008 and a visit to a base in New Jersey with his "This Is Us" co-stars in 2017, while Wilmer is described as a "USO tour veteran" on the organisation's website.
