AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea's recent stage in Brazil was interrupted by a frightening health scare. The "Fancy" hitmaker was performing "Black Widow" at Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro when one of her backup dancers collapsed mid-stage.

In a video that circulated online, one of her backup dancers passed out in the middle of the performance, much to audience's shock. It could be seen that her body was shaking uncontrollably. The Australian rapper later was seen walking to the dancer, seemingly to check on her condition before she called for a medic.

"Somebody call a medic up here," she said to the mic, before continuing to jump into her verse. Her performance, however, was cut short as soon as medic arrived on the stage. For a brief moment, the whole stadium went silent. It was said that medics actually drove an ambulance onstage to take the dancer.

It didn't take long for people to criticize the Australian rapper. "Sooooo….. she couldn't stop the performance?" one user wrote. Another critic commented, "So if that was her up there having a seizure would she expect her dancer to keep dancing. Smh."

Iggy later took to her Instagram account to address the scary scene. "Hey guys, just want to let everyone asking know my dancer is OKAY! The lights and heat caused her to have a seizure," she explained. "She is backstage feeling much better."

"Also, for what it's worth in regards to the backup dancer. 1. I thought she had just fallen/twisted her ankle and it may sound harsh but; you keep singing until the music stops and ask for a medic which is what I did," she continued saying, defending herself for opting to keep performing despite all of that.

"2. We are all really shaken up by what happened and just thankful she is okay. 3. I know it's easy to make memes of someone 'passed out' but someone having a seizure isn't funny, it's really scary! So I hope my fans do not repost some of the memes I'm seeing about my dancer," she concluded.
