It is also revealed that hair has always playing a key part of their love story even during their first encounter.

AceShowbiz - Jason Momoa is not planning to cut his hair short anytime soon, unless he wants to risks his marriage with Lisa Bonet. The "Aquaman" actor recently shares one of the many reasons why he keeps his signature long mane.

Talking to Daily Telegraph, the actor says that it has something to do with his wife Lisa. "My wife would leave me if I cut my hair, so I just don't cut my hair," the "Game of Thrones" alum revealed. "I am not cutting my hair for a while, I will tell you that much."

That was one of the many reasons he keeps his hair long, though. Another reason is definitely his character in "Aquaman", in which he plays the titular character. "I am going to be playing this guy for a while and I don't want to wear a wig," he went on explaining. "I think we are good for the next two years."

The 39-year-old actor and the 51-year-old actress first met at a jazz club in New York. They later tied the knot after being together for more than a decade. The pair, who share two kids together, wed during a ceremony at their house in Topanga, Californina in 2017.

Even during their first encounter, hair has always playing a key part of their love story. "We just happened to be in the right place at the right time," Jason shared. "I actually had dreaded my hair for her. I had dreadlocks, she had dreadlocks. I literally turned around and I see her and she goes, 'I'm Lisa.' "

"I turned around to my friend and I [pretended to scream]. I had f***ing fireworks going off inside, man," he added.

Before marrying Jason, Lisa was married to musician Lenny Kravitz from 1987 to 1993. The former couple has 30-year-old daughter Zoe Kravitz.
