Two years after the 'Star Wars' actress died of heart attack, the Seth MacFarlane-created animated sitcom finally airs the episode which features the funeral of her brewery boss character.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Fisher was honored during the latest episode of TV series "Family Guy" as her animated character on the show was laid to rest.

The "Star Wars" actress, who died after suffering a heart attack on a flight from London to Los Angeles almost two years ago (December 2016), voiced a brewery boss named Angela in over 20 episodes of the comedy, and TV bosses decided to send her off in style as Bryan Cranston and Niecy Nash's new characters, Bert and Sheila, took over at the Pawtucket brewery.

"It would be easy for a less capable actress to make that character (Angela) kind of one-note, gruff, and yelling all the time," "Family Guy" executive producer Steve Callaghan told EW last year, "but Carrie brought to it a depth that I don't think just anyone could have..."

"We're incredibly grateful to her for that, and we all feel the loss of that now that we're writing episodes that don't have Angela in them."

The funeral for Carrie's character featured during Sunday night's "Family Guy" episode in America.
