Many are looking forward to the collaboration between the 'Grey's Anatomy' alum and the 'Brooklyn Nine Nine' star after their funny bit while co-presenting an Emmy Award last September.

AceShowbiz - The Hollywood Foreign Press Association has announced the hosts for the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards and the gig goes to Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg. The "Killing Eve" actress and the "Brooklyn Nine Nine" star will team up to lead the ceremony, which is scheduled to air Sunday, January 6, 2019 on NBC.

Golden Globe Awards announced it on its official Twitter account, "We are pleased to confirm that Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh will be co-hosting this year's 76th #GoldenGlobes!"

Paul Telegdy and George Cheeks, co-chairmen of NBC Entertainment, added, "Sandra and Andy are the perfect choices to host this world-class event. They bring wit, charm and style to a room filled with the very best of film and television. It's sure to be another unforgettable fun-filled night."

Many are excited to see the two's collaboration following their funny bit at the 2018 Primetime Emmy Awards in September. On hand to co-present a trophy, the "Grey's Anatomy" alum "decided to speak from the heart" and rip the envelope. "The winner is 'La La Land'," she shouted at the mic, poking fun at the 2017 Oscar gaffe. "No, don't say that. Anything but that," Samberg told her, before he read the real winner.

Responding to the news of their Golden Globes hosting gig, one wrote, "Now that is an amazing hosting line up." Another commented, "And suddenly I'm watching the golden globes this year."

"YES OMFG LOVE THEM SO MUCH," read another comment. Another Twitter user added, "Im so excited to watch! They both are great picks." Someone else wrote, "the Oscars are shaking."

The announcement comes a day after the Academy revealed Kevin Hart would be hosting the 2019 Academy Awards. The news was met with backlash, as many pointed out the comedian's history of domestic violence and homophobic jokes in the past.

During his 2010 comedy special "Seriously Funny", Hart said, "One of my biggest fears is my son growing up and being gay. That's a fear. Keep in mind, I'm not homophobic.... Be happy. Do what you want to do. But me, as a heterosexual male, if I can prevent my son from being gay, I will."

Hart and the Academy have not responded to the protest. The 91st Oscars will be held on February 24.
