AceShowbiz - After announcing his world tour "The Man. The Music. The Show." last week, Hugh Jackman has given fans a taste of what to expect from the tour when he stopped by "Today" on Tuesday, December 4. During the episode, he performed "The Greatest Show" from "The Greatest Showman" as well as a medley of "Les Miserable" hits.

Prior to gracing the stage, Jackman announced that his "The Greatest Showman" co-star Keala Settle would be joining him on the road and expressed hope to get Lauren Allred to pipe in along the way. When asked if he was nervous about the upcoming tour, Jackman replied, "This is the bucket list. This is a dream come true. Look at me! I'm in the Plaza with the tree behind me."

"The Man. The Music. The Show." will include about half a dozen songs from "The Greates Showman" as well material from his roles on musical stage like Gaston from "Beauty and the Beast", Jean Valjean from "Les Miserables" and Peter Allen from "The Boy from Oz". Kicking off in May next year, the tour will span cities within the United States, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Tickets will go on sale to general public starting from Friday, December 7.

Jackman recently teased that the tour would also include a number of fresh, never-before-heard songs during an interview with Rolling Stone. "I really want to do some original music for this show," he said. "I'm hoping to have written something that I can perform. I really want to write with Justin [Paul] and Ben [Pasek], who did 'The Greatest Showman' and 'Dear Evan Hanson' the musical."

"I love 'Dear Evan Hanson' and I would love to do a song from that as well," he continued. "And I'm literally doing all those workshops right now, deciding what all the material is going to be."
