Duane 'Dog' Chapman says his wife is 'much more comfortable now she can breathe' and wanted to come back to Colorado because 'she loves it here.'

AceShowbiz - "Doug the Bounty Hunter" star Beth Chapman has returned to her home in Colorado after an emergency surgery to remove a large mass from her throat. The reality TV star left the hospital in California against doctor's advice, after the surgery revealed that her throat cancer has returned.

Giving an update on his wife's condition, Duane Chapman a.k.a. Doug the Bounty Hunter tells Us Weekly, "She's much more comfortable now she can breathe, but she just wanted to come back to Colorado, she loves it here. They told us they didn't want her to leave the hospital, but she was adamant, she just wanted to be home. We have the test results coming in tomorrow."

Dog explains that Beth "was in a wheelchair to the plane and then a wheelchair on the other side" when they arrived in Colorado on Saturday, December 1. He adds that they "were met by friends when we landed who brought us home."

The couple was additionally welcomed by nature upon arriving at their home. "This morning, there were 20 deer in the backyard. They know when the cars come who it is, and we feed them so they come to the backyard," Dog says. "And I've never seen so many deer in the backyard, it's like the animals know somehow and she loves the deer so much, and all the animals."

The 65-year A&E reality TV star adds of his wife, "Beth slept for almost an entire day, and she was more comfortable, then she got up and she was trying to do things around the house, trying to do laundry and wash the dishes, I said to her, 'I've done all that, don't worry.' "

Dog and Beth are currently awaiting the results of her biopsy. "Yes, I'm nervous about the test results tomorrow," Dog admits. "It's like you kinda know what's gonna happen, but you're hoping and praying it's not."
