A little more than two weeks after the Marvel comic book legend passed away at the age of 95, his cause of death is listed as heart and respiratory failure.

The Marvel comic book legend passed away at the age of 95 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles earlier this month after paramedics responded to his home in the Hollywood Hills following a medical emergency.

According to TMZ, Lee's cause of death was heart and respiratory failure and he was also suffering from aspiration pneumonia, which the coroner considers a "significant condition contributing to death."

Lee was laid to rest at a private family funeral and his death certificate notes he was cremated and his ashes were reportedly given to his daughter Joan.
