Weeks before he is set to be sentenced for weapons charges, the 'Back to the Crib' rapper gets down on bended knee in front of concertgoers to ask for Kimbella Vanderhee's hand in marriage.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Juelz Santana is engaged after proposing to his longtime girlfriend onstage in New York.

The Diplomats MC reunited with his fellow group members Cam'Ron, Jim Jones, and Freekey Zekey at the famed Apollo Theater on Friday night, November 23, to celebrate the release of the band's comeback album "Diplomatic Ties", and Juelz decided to take the opportunity to pop the question to model and reality TV star Kimbella Vanderhee.

Introducing the "Love & Hip Hop: New York" regular to the audience, Juelz said, "This my lady. She's been rocking with me for a long, long time. She stuck it out with a n**ga through the ups and downs. I love you, baby. You're my queen and I want to do this in front of everybody right here."

He then got down on bended knee and presented Kimbella with custom-made six carat diamond on a diamond-studded gold band as she accepted his marriage proposal.

Kimbella has since taken to Instagram to show off the stunning jewel, thanking designers at Avianne & Co. for crafting the piece.

"@aviannejewelers You did good working with my Fiance @thejuelzsantana to create the perfect ring! I'm in aw (sic)!" she gushed.

The couple, which has been dating for close to a decade, shares two children together, son Juelz and daughter Bella.

The proposal comes just weeks before Juelz is set to be sentenced for weapons charges relating to an incident at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey in March.

The "There It Go (The Whistle Song)" star, real name LaRon James, is facing up to 20 years behind bars after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft.

He will learn his fate on 12 December.
