Speaking to Dermot O'Leary on his BBC Radio 2 show, the 'Lullaby' singer finds it amazing to be able to portray a different side to her 'nice' public persona on the EPIX series.

AceShowbiz - Paloma Faith is enjoying embracing her nasty side in her "horrible" role as a villain in the new Batman prequel series, "Pennyworth".
Developed by "Gotham" producers Danny Cannon and Bruno Heller, the show will focus on the early years of the long-serving Wayne butler Alfred Pennyworth.
It was announced back in October that Paloma, 37, had landed the role of an unnamed "spirited, sadistic and sharp-tongued villain" – a character the mother-of-one loves to play.
"I get to be a horrible, horrible human being," she told Dermot O'Leary on his BBC Radio 2 show. "So I'm a horrible villain."
Paloma described the series as being "about Alfred the Butler's youth", and joked that she liked having a different side to her public persona.
"It's like, in a public persona I have to be really nice all the time, and as a mother I have to be really nice all the time. It's so amazing to go to work and everyone wants you to be as horrible as possible. I really enjoy it. I love that," she laughed.
The singer also confirmed that they've already filmed the pilot, and production on the U.S. series, which is reportedly set in the 1960s, will begin in January (19).
Jack Bannon will play Alfred, who before his days serving the Wayne family as their butler, was a former British SAS solider, who forms a security company and goes to work with billionaire Thomas Wayne.
Ben Aldridge will be playing Bruce Wayne's mysterious billionaire father, while "X-Men: First Class" star Jason Flemyng has landed the role of "sadistic" Lord Harwood.
"Pennyworth" will premiere on U.S. network EPIX in 2019.
