The former 'The Bridge' star shares a heartfelt tribute to her boyfriend on her 'favorite time of the year' after welcoming their first child together a few weeks ago.

AceShowbiz - Diane Kruger is staying true to Thanksgiving tradition in the sweetest way possible. On the eve of the national holiday, the "Inglourious Basterds" actress took to her Instagram account to express her gratitude for her actor boyfriend, Norman Reedus.
"I have a lot to be thankful for this year and I count my lucky stars to have met you @bigbaldhead and for sharing life's many blessings with you," the 42-year-old wrote in the post dated November 21. She additionally wished her fans a "happy thanksgiving" and told them that the holiday is her "favorite time of the year."
Even though Kruger and Reedus are recently so comfortable in showing affection to one another, they had kept their relationship to themselves in the past. It wasn't clear when their romance started, but it was known that Kruger had never met Reedus until they worked together for "Sky" in 2015.
In April 2016, when attending the drama film's premiere in New York City, Kruger expressed her admiration for Reedus. Admitting to be "pleasantly surprised" with her co-star's contrasting traits from his usual on-screen characters, she told PEOPLE, "He's so relaxed. He’s really easygoing, very gentle."
The two didn't confirm their romance until they made their couple debut on the red carpet at the 2018 Golden Globes. In May the same year, rumors surfaced that Kruger was pregnant. Adding fuel to the fire, she posted a black-and-white image of herself with footprint emoji in the caption section. In early November, it was said that the couple had welcomed their first child together.
Before dating Reedus, Kruger was married to a French actor, Guillaume Canet, from 2001 to 2006. After her divorce, the "In the Fade" actress dated actor Joshua Jackson for 10 years. On the other hand, Reedus dated Helena Christensen, with whom he shares a son together, for five years before parting ways in 2003.
