In a post explaining how to pronounce Kaavia’s name, the 'Breaking In' actress also breaks down why her newborn daughter has two middle names.

AceShowbiz - A few days after her husband revealed the name they chose for their baby girl, Gabrielle Union offered more details into the unique moniker. In an Instagram post she shared on Saturday, November 17, the "Being Mary Jane" star revealed that her infant daughter already collected more than 102 nicknames.

"She has 102 nicknames including but not limited to Kaav, Kaavi, Kaavi Baby, Kaavi J, Jamie, KJ, Nugget, Nug, Pooters," the wife of NBA player, Dwyane Wade, wrote in companion of a photo of her cradling the bundle of joy. She also informed her followers on how to pronounce her daughter's first name. "Kaavia James pronounced Kah-Vee-Uh James," she spilled.

In the same post, the "Deliver Us from Eva" star further divulged why her newborn carries two middle names. "We wanted to include my family in her name so the 'James' is from my uncle James Frances Glass who is also my godfather," she explained. "Union is her middle name. I've waited this long so fo sho I was gonna get in there."

Gabrielle welcomed her first biological child with Dwyane via surrogate on November 7. Along with a series of hospital pictures, the "Bad Boys 2" beauty announced, "We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate and 11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days. Welcome to the party sweet girl!"

Nearly a week after the birth announcement, Dwyane took turn to reveal the name they have chosen for his fourth child. "Goes back to that one night in China when i decided to get my daughters name tattooed on me," he wrote in the caption of a photo that displays two fresh inks on each side of his shoulders. "Kaavia James Union Wade! #paternityleave."

Gabrielle tied the knot with Dwyane in 2014. Three years afterward, she opened up about her battle with infertility through her "We're Going to Need More Wine" book. "I have had eight or nine miscarriages. For three years, my body has been a prisoner of trying to get pregnant," the 46-year-old wrote. "I've either been about to go into an IVF cycle, in the middle of an IVF cycle, or coming out of an IVF cycle." Despite the struggle, she noted that she and her husband were "ready to do anything to meet the child we've both dreamed of."
