AceShowbiz - Even though the release of "LM5" is only days away, Little Mix doesn't stop continuing the rollout for the much-anticipated record. The British girl group just teased a new song entitled "Strip" by sharing on Instagram an empowering picture of them baring their bodies.
Four of the girls were sitting near each other as they strategically covered their modesty with their hands and legs in the black-and-white picture. Words of insults were scrawled across their skin, with Leigh-Anne Pinnock having the words, "Can't sing," and "Puppets" on her leg. Meanwhile, Jesy Nelson had a big "fat" word written on her arm.
Perrie Edwards sported the words, "Ugly," "Weak" and "Stupid" on her bare body as Jade Thirlwall had "Talentless," "Not good enough," and "S***ty" written on her bod.
In the caption, the girls quoted the lyrics of the song that read, "Take off all my make up coz I love what's under it/ Rub off all your words don't give a f**k I'm over it/ Jiggle all this weight, yeah you know I love all of this/ Finally love me naked/ Sexiest when I'm confident."
In addition to the naked picture, Little Mix shared a music video trailer for the upcoming song. The video showed a variety of women, from fat to black and skinny ladies, proudly flaunting their bodies as the girls' vocals could be heard playing in the background. According to the caption, the music video was filmed a few months ago and directed by photographer Rankin. Little Mix served as co-directors.
"Strip is really a special song from LM5," they wrote in the caption. "It's all about standing proud and we wrote it to encourage and empower people to be who they are. We were lucky enough to have the amazing @rankinarchive bring out vision to life in partnership with @youtubemusic!"
Both song and music video will be released on Friday, November 16, the same day "LM5" will hit the stores.
