According to Us Weekly, Demi and Wilmer "speak over the phone pretty much every day and see each other often." A source shares to the news outlet, "After her last relapse, she realized how short life can potentially be and it resonated with her that she could lose everything at the snap of a finger. One of the last things that she would ever want to lose is Wilmer."

The inside source goes on saying that the "Sorry Not Sorry" hitmaker "never wants to jeopardize her relationship with him, her family or friends, ever again." And even her relationship with the "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service" actor has only been platonic at this point, a possibility of them rekindling their romance is "definitely not out of the question," so the insider claims.

Wilmer and Demi started dating in 2010, after they first met at his house in Los Angeles. The then-couple decided to call it quit in June 2016 after six years of dating.

Demi is now allegedly romancing Henry after showing romantic display during sushi dinner post-rehab. Sitting across to each other, they looked happy, laughing and holding hands while staring lovingly at each other. The two were also seen leaving the restaurant in a car together with Demi sitting on the passenger's seat. Henry took the wheel and was pictured smoking a cigarette.

However, some ugly details regarding the clothing designer emerged online after their dating rumor hit the internet. Words are, he was accused of drug use, fraud, discrimination and failure to pay overtime wages among other things.
