AceShowbiz - The suspect in the murder of Angela Simmons' ex-fiance Sutton Tennyson has surrendered to police, four days after the incident took place. Michael Williams, who is accused of shooting and killing Angela's baby daddy, turned himself into the Atlanta Police Dept. on Wednesday, November 7, TMZ reports.

The 44-year-old man has been charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony. His lawyer Jackie Patterson, however, tells the site that his client denies the allegations that he shot and killed Sutton.

The Atlanta Police Department confirms Michael's arrest in a statement, "The Atlanta Police Department has made an arrest in the November 3rd homicide of Sutton Tennyson at 610 Jewel Dr. SW. Michael Williams (44-years-old) turned himself in today at Atlanta Police headquarters on charges of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, and Murder. Please be advised that this is still an ongoing investigation and these charges may be updated. Mr. Williams has been transported to the Fulton County Jail."

Sutton, who is the father of Angela's two-year-old son Sutton Jr., was found dead in his garage on Saturday, November 3 with multiple gunshot wounds. Police were called to the neighborhood after receiving calls reporting "shots fired."

Cops believe that Sutton had been standing in his driveway talking to another man, when the conversation turned violent and a gun was pulled. The suspect fled the scene of the crime in a car.

Following her ex-fiance's death, Angela took to Instagram to mourn her loss. "Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift . I'm hurting . I'm numb," she wrote along with a picture of her son and his father. The fashion designer and reality TV star added, "Thank you for the out pouring of love everyone . I cant believe I'm even saying Rest In Peace Sutton . I promise to hold SJ down in every way I promise (sic)."
