AceShowbiz - John-David Duggar is a married man. After only five months of courting period, the "Counting On" star has taken his romance with Abbie Grace Burnett to a whole new level as the two exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, November 3.

The Duggars joyfully made the announcement through the family's official website. Along with a picture of the happy couple on their wedding day, the family exclaimed, "Wedding bells chimed today as John-David and Abbie became husband and wife!! We are overjoyed for the two of them to begin their married life together."

John and Abbie themselves have also expressed their excitement. "We are so excited to be married! It was a beautiful moment and we so appreciate our friends and family for sharing this day with us. Most of all we are thankful to Christ for bringing us together," their statement read. "This is going to be an amazing journey!"

The lovebirds have known each other for several years before they began courting. Their romance blossomed when the reality star visited Oklahoma for a church event. "We really got connected then," Abbie spilled to Us Weekly in June, while John gushed, "We fell in love very quickly and it’s been a wonderful journey thus far."

Around one month after they stepped out as a couple, 28-year-old John and 26-year-old Abbie announced their engagement. "The proposal and the 'yes' really solidified that we want to spend the rest of our lives together," they said in a statement to Us Weekly. "It was a special moment to share together."

The happy duo also thought that it was God who brought them to each other. "One of the most amazing things about following Christ is being able to trust Him to direct your path and lead your life," they explained. "We are so thankful that He led us to one another."
