Brian Perez got arrested in February 2018 after the Victoria's Secret model called New York police on him for posting a photo of her apartment building on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - A man accused of stalking model Bella Hadid has accepted a plea deal.

Brian Perez was arrested in February after the 22-year-old called the New York Police Department when she noticed the 37-year-old had posted a photo of her apartment building on Instagram. She had previously become concerned about Perez's behaviour after he sent her "numerous unwanted threatening messages" on social media threatening her and members of her family between December 17, 2017 and February 7.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, Perez has now taken a dismissal deal, meaning that if he abides by an order of protection which prevents him from making contact with the model online or in person for the next six months, then the harassment case against him will be dropped.

The plea deal comes after Hadid obtained a restraining order against Perez following his February arrest.

It's not the first time the Hadid family have had to deal with unwanted attention. Last July, a man accused of stalking Bella's sister Gigi Hadid was sentenced to up to three years in prison. Marcell Porter was arrested on suspicion of stalking and burglary in June 2015, after allegedly attempting to gain access to the catwalk star's New York City home on numerous occasions.
