The actress looked stunning in a plunging black Valentino gown at the London premiere of her latest film, "The Hate U Give", forgoing accessories and wearing her hair in a braided bob hairstyle.
Teaming the outfit with a sultry smokey eye and natural nude lip, Amandla drew attention to her hairy pits when she posted pictures from the event to her Instagram account on Sunday, October 21.
"#drama #armpit," the 19-year-old captioned two images of herself from the night.
Though some Instagram users were not supportive of her decision, Amandla received plenty of praise from her fan base, with many complimenting her look and decision to move away from traditional beauty norms.
"Love it when the young women of Hollywood aren't afraid to be themselves and make a statement despite being in the limelight and constantly criticised and picked at...shows you're above all the negativity," one user commented.
