AceShowbiz - Movie veteran Bruce Dern is back home after a fall during a run put him in hospital over the weekend (October 19-20).

The Nebraska star is reportedly pain free and eager to get back to work, according to his publicist, Lee Wallman.

Dern fell while jogging at the Silver Lake Reservoir and suffered a suspected fractured hip.

He was discharged from hospital on Saturday, October 20.

Dern has just completed filming Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood", in which he plays the rancher who helped serial killer Charles Manson find a home for his The Family cult.

Dern was handed the role last month, following the death of his friend Burt Reynolds, who was originally cast as George Spahn in the film.
