Having ended her long feud with the 'Bad Blood' hitmaker, the 'Swish Swish' songstress applauds the former for urging fans to register to vote ahead of midterm elections.

AceShowbiz - Katy Perry has saluted her former pop rival Taylor Swift for bringing attention to voting ahead of America's midterm elections.

The two stars recently ended their long-running feud, which inspired Taylor's "Bad Blood" hit, and now Katy has become one of the singer's top supporters, applauding her for getting political.

Swift has always been apolitical until earlier this month, when she revealed she would be voting for Democrats in her adopted Tennessee - and then earlier this week, beg October 15, she took to social media and urged her fans to register to vote early.

"She's setting a great example," Katy, who has always been outspoken about politics, told Variety at Thursday night's (October 18) amfAR Gala in Los Angeles, where she received a Courage Award.
