Asked about his party plan at the red carpet of 2018 American Music Awards, the 'What Ifs' singer reminds interviewer that he is getting married to fellow artist Katelyn Jae in a couple days.

AceShowbiz - Country star Kane Brown plans to celebrate his triple win at Tuesday's (October 9) American Music Awards by raising an extra toast at his upcoming wedding.

The singer dominated the country categories at the Los Angeles prizegiving, walking away with honours for Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Album for his self-titled debut, and Favorite Song for "Heaven", but he didn't stick around to party as he had to head straight back to Tennessee.

During a red carpet interview ahead of the show, Kane revealed he would be tying the knot with fellow artist Katelyn Jae by the end of the week.

Asked how he would celebrate if he won an American Music Award, he told breakfast show "Today", "I'm flying home (after the ceremony) 'cause I'm getting married in a couple days, so I'll probably just celebrate at the wedding."

The "What Ifs" singer had previously revealed he planned to make the most of his downtime in between tours to enjoy life as a newlywed.

"I'm gonna take three months off," he told Taste of Country last month. "We'll have the wedding and then we are going to take a month for the honeymoon."

Kane wrapped up his trek with Chris Young in late September, and isn't due back onstage until January 2019, when he will embark on his first arena headlining dates for the "Kane Brown: Live Forever Tour".
