The upcoming season will see Jamie and Claire trying to make a home for themselves in the United States

AceShowbiz - Many people can't wait for "Outlander" to return for season 4. Now, Starz has released the opening credits for the new season of the hit time-travel series for a viewing pleasure during its panel at New York Comic-Con.

The upcoming season will see Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) trying to make a home for themselves in the United States, so it's not surprising that the show's opening titles is having a very American theme. The footage sees deer, Native Americans and a Colonial mansion.

Also featured in the video is Claire's real-life brush with a slave.

Season 4 will follow Claire and her 18th century Highlander husband Jamie in colonial America. As they are trying to build their lives together in the rough and dangerous backcountry of North Carolina, they must negotiate a tenuous loyalty to the current British ruling class, though Claire knows that American Revolution is to come. They will also cross paths with notorious pirate and smuggler Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers) in a fateful meeting.

As for the things in the 20th century, they get complicated between Brianna Randall (Sophie Skelton), Claire and Jamie's daughter, and Roger Wakefield (Richard Rankin), the historian who helped Claire search for Jamie in the past. Roger and Brianna find a shocking discovery while searching for proof that her parents reunited in the 18th century. It's something that prompts them to follow in Claire's footsteps.

During the show's panel at NYCC, EP Ronald D. Moore teased that the fourth season was "a slightly less happy place than you would think." He added, "[But] it really is the season where they decide to have a home and decide to have a place where they can have roots."

Star Balfe shared, "This season there is such a contentment with the two of them together. I don't think there are cliffhangers again about whether this couple will stay together or not." As for Brianna and Roger, Rankin said, "We get a good look of how they function together and how they stress each other out and what they're like individually and how it impacts them."

Produced by Tall Ship Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Left Bank Pictures in association with Sony Pictures Television, "Outlander" season 4 is set to debut on Sunday, November 4 at 8 P.M. on Starz.
