Noah Centineo's Casting for 'Charlie's Angels' Sends Fans Into Frenzy

The 'To All the Boys I Loved Before' hunk will play a love interest of one of the three Angels in the upcoming reboot.

AceShowbiz - After stealing girls' hearts with his roles in "To All the Boys I've Loved Before" and "Sierra Burgess Is a Loser", it's only a matter of time before Noah Centineo spreads his wings to big screen. And now the chance has come as he landed a key role in "Charlie's Angels" reboot.

According to EW, the 22-year-old heartthrob will play one of the Bosley characters who develops romantic sparks with one of the three Angels. Variety broke the news of Centineo's casting and Elizabeth Banks, who is set to direct the movie, has confirmed it with her Twitter post.

Following the news, Centineo's fans rejoice at the prospect of seeing the hunky actor in the big movie. They have taken to Twitter to share their reactions, with one writing, "Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah. Sam Claflin AND Noah Centineo? Did I die? Is this what heaven is? #CharliesAngels."

Another tweeted support for the actor, "@noahcent I'M SO SO PROUD OF YOU UR GONNA KILL IT IN CHARLIE'S ANGELS ILYSM."

"WAIT BOTH NOAH CENTINEO AND SAM CLAFLIN ARE GONNA BE IN CHARLIES ANGELS SHUT THE F**K UP ITS WHAT I DESERVE IM SCREAMING," another user tweeted hysterically.

Banks will also star as one of the Bosley characters, with Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou playing the other two Bosleys. Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska are tapped to play the three Angels. Sam Claflin, Jonathan Tucker and Luis Gerardo Mendez are rounding out the cast.

The reboot centers on the next generation of Angels working for the mysterious Charlie. The Townsend Agency has grown considerably and gone global, providing security and intelligence services to a wide variety of private clients.

Banks and Jay Basu write the latest draft of the script based on earlier versions by Craig Mazin and Semi Chellas. Banks and Max Handelman are producing under their Brownstone Productions banner, along with 2.0 Entertainment's Doug Belgrad and Elizabeth Cantillon.

Production has already begun for a scheduled September 27, 2019 release in the United States.

Centineo will next be seen in romantic comedy "The Stand-In". The "Charlie's Angels" reboot marks his first blockbuster role after gaining fans with his roles in Netflix's movies.
