People turned their attention to the 'Melrose Place' alum's choice of outfit after she's called out for breaking rule during the Senate Judiciary Hearing.

AceShowbiz - Brett Kavanaugh was not the only one at the center of attention during the Senate Judiciary Hearing on Thursday, September 27. Alyssa Milano, who is supporting Kavanaugh's accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, gained attention for her presence at the hearing.

Wearing a black, pinstriped dress with a deep neckline, she has been blasted on Twitter for her choice of outfit. Many think that her revealing dress was "disrespectful" and inappropriate. One wrote on Twitter, "Good grief! How can anyone take @Alyssa_Milano seriously the way she is dressed for this hearing. How disrespectful with that cleavage hanging out.#ChristineBlaseyFord."

Another commented, "And looking for someone to accuse of leering at her cleavage. As is her right...but use better judgement next time. This isn't Hollywood and sex does not sell. Yet another reason actors should stick to reading lines @Alyssa_Milano."

"Is that Alyssa Milano? Because all I see is cleavage," read another comment.

Some others, however, have come to Milano's defense. A Twitter user called out those attackers, "If you're going to attack @Alyssa_Milano for her OUTFIT, you're part of the problem. Women can wear whatever they want and your reaction is not their problem."

Her outfit aside, Milano was called out for breaking rule during the hearing by sharing videos and photos from the court room. At one point, a security guard even warned her to stop filming the hearing.

CNN reporter Kate Bennett tweeted, "Finally. @Alyssa_Milano has been breaking room rules for this hearing by videotaping and photographing on and off all day. A guard just went over and told her to stop."

On Friday, Milano clarified this, saying that she did get warned by the guard, but did not have her phone confiscated. "P.S. I did not have my phone confiscated as proven by the fact that I didn't stop making social media posts," she posted on Twitter. "I did have my, 'believe woman' sign confiscated though. And a policeman warned me about taking video on my phone."

During the hearing, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about her allegations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh. The judge, who is nominated by President Donald Trump to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, was also mocked on Twitter for his reactions during the hearing.

He refused to answer certain questions, interrupted some of the committee members and appeared angry in the court room. "Today I have to say that I fear for the future," he said during his testimony, attacking Democrats for heavily criticizing Trump.

Some late-night show hosts took to their shows to respond to this, with Stephen Colbert saying, "Hashtag MeToo." He and Jimmy Kimmel also mocked Kavanaugh for repeatedly saying, "We drank beer" and "We liked beer." Meanwhile, Trevor Noah said Kavanaugh was "such an a**hole he looked like he was auditioning for a Snickers commercial."
