The 'Game of Thrones' star reveals in the caption that the inspirations of her layered pixie are Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt.

AceShowbiz - Emilia Clarke is always open to a change. Now that "Game of Thrones" is coming to an end, the Daenerys Targaryen depicter is allowed to play around with her bob locks, including cutting her hair very short. The Mother of Dragons of "Game of Thrones" takes to her Instagram account to share to debut her new ear-grazing pixie hair.

Seemingly taken at the salon, the photo sees the actress smiling widely at the camera. She seems to be so satisfied with the result of her new hair, which was done by hairstylist Jenny Cho.

Emilia reveals in the caption that the inspirations of her layered pixie are Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt. "Me: I’m thinking when Gwyneth and Brad had the same hair cut. @jennychohair : I got 'chu #nowijustneedanextra2feetoflegs #slidingdoors4lyfe @jennychohair I would follow you into any battle anytime anywhere you my GURL #fortheloveofthelowmaintenance," she writes.

The actress has always loved short hair. "I do bloody love long hair, but then I'm always dreaming of cutting it all off and having a pixie cut," she revealed to Harper's Bazaar earlier this month. "But I don’t know that my face could take it."

Emilia had to maintain her long hair for the role of Khaleesi on "Game of Thrones". She wore wigs for the first few seasons of the show, though she decided to go all-in by dying her hair into platinum for the eighth and final season.

Emilia has made some headlines this past few days. Last week, the "Solo: A Star Wars Story" actress flaunted her "Game of Thrones"-inspired tattoo. The 31-year-old unveiled her new body art on Wednesday, September 19, sharing a snap to Instagram showing three flying dragons sitting proudly on her right wrist.

"MOD (Mother of Dragons) 4 LYFE!!!! @_dr_woo_ made sure this mamma ain't NEVER forgetting her babies...." Emilia captioned the post, tagging Los Angeles-based celebrity tattoo artist Doctor Woo. The star also added a series of hashtags including "#dontworryionlybrieflypassedout" and "#couldntbehappierifitried."
