AceShowbiz - Nicole Kidman has signed on to produce an adaptation of Meg Wolitzer's book "The Female Persuasion".
The movie will be produced by the Oscar winner and her partners at Blossom Films under a first-look deal with bosses at streaming service Amazon.
The film centres on college student Greer Kadetsky, who is groped at a fraternity party and subsequently becomes involved in the women's rights movement.
Lynda Obst and Per Saari will also produce, while Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger will executive produce and adapt the project, according to Variety.
Kidman has been building up her behind-the-scenes experience in recent years and previously produced her hit show "Big Little Lies" and 2010 film "Rabbit Hole".
