AceShowbiz - Boxer-turned-actor Victor Ortiz has been arrested on three charges of sexual assault, including one of rape.
The 31-year-old, who appeared in "The Expendables 3" and "Southpaw", surrendered to authorities in Oxnard, California on Tuesday, September 26, according to TMZ.
His accuser alleges the assault took place on March 19 in an Oxnard home. She filed a report accusing Ortiz of sexual assault the same day.
Officials at the Ventura County District Attorney's Office have charged the boxer with counts of forcible rape, forcible oral copulation, and forcible digital penetration. Bail has been set at $100,000 (£76,000).
Victor is scheduled to fight John Molina Jr. in Ontario, California on Sunday. He is a former welterweight world champion but lost his World Boxing Council title to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2011.
The sports star-turned-actor has a previous arrest for driving under the influence in 2016, and one for an alleged attack on a man at a Kenny Chesney concert in Los Angeles the previous year (2015).
In addition to his acting and boxing careers, Victor also competed on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2013.
